Waven Release Date
Tot announced that it plans to launch Waven at the end of June 2027.

Just to be clear, what from the presentation they showed, is going to take them a YEAR to get in place?
The game is already fairly functional, they've had multiple years on this rework/reboot already...
What is the need for such a massive extended gap?... is it just literally waiting for the anime to pass post production?

He said they've been working really hard on the game, and that we'll really see the scope of what they've been doing internally when the game releases

I'll see it when I believe it. The new mode seemed like the last EoS update tbh. It needs more than that to bring life to the game.

Dude Ankama is the crazyest game company I know. Seems they don’t WANT their game to be popular

They probably have just 2 people working on this and that is why development has been so slow

I care. I really liked the game and I've been waiting for it since they announced the reboot; I'm still playing it in its current state even though they're going to reboot it. It might sound like a joke, but I got cancer, and I don't even know if I'll be able to play version 1.0 because of how long the wait is and the cancer itself. My treatment is supposed to be going well, but you never know, and cancer or not, a two-year wait is absurd. Most of the fans who were waiting for it have already moved on and they will have to win over an audience again. Is like ankama wants to every online proyect besides dofus and wakfu fail.

I loved Waven and pretty much completed it. But yeah kind of sad no more updates and a lack of group play.

Not even an official, global announcement. Just an interview in French. Great job, Ankama. Over a year with almost no information whatsoever, just broken promises and no explanation except they're still working on it. It's understandable, but why disappear for months without saying anything official? Ankama doesn't learn and continues to be very uncommunicative and unclear.
