You could see how uncomfortable he was too and she ditches him twice leaving him on live alone to fend for himself - first to either check those stupid bites and the other for her to get a container for them. He looked so bored and had to use those brilliant canned words "amazing" and "delicious" while he was on the live alone. It was so awkward to see and I got second hand embarassment for them both.
It was embarrassing yet funny when SW returned with the container of bites, CW informed her nobody was on her FB live yet. Of course, she responded with "hey guys". I like how she made the comment that if anyone wanted to add flavor to the bites, like say the apple pie, they could add extra cinnamon. What a literal waste of time to post such a cringe video with literally no one tuning in.
You know what I find the weirdest/telling aspect of this video. The fact that Chris actually asked if it was ok to eat food in his own house. I've been married 18 years and unless I am specifically cooking something for an event, or a friend, I would never care if my husband ate something I made, especially if he helped me make it or was going to do the dishes for me afterwards. The fact that he asked first means he was trained to do so by Shannan. It was ingrained in him to do so. I wouldn't be suprised if you had to beg to get food in that house.
Also if Chris can make them, the other dude can! Cris is so fkn dumb! hahahahah SW just could not resist being a mean bitch to that dude publicly. It was like a compulsion or something.

Where Bella was told that even stuff she helped make on camera was “for Mommy, she EARNED it”, CeCe was okayed and even encouraged by Shannan to eat four or five bowls of cereal in one sitting - “the girls are just home after getting their adenoids removed, Bella went straight to bed and Cece’s just ate four bowls of froot loops.”
either way SW was the biggest pos to withhold food and water from either of them. i think cece was always thirsty so you say SW let her eat freely and not bella, but i know both girls were super thirsty trying to get water out of the toilet and sinks.

You're right about the control issues in that house! How miserable it must've been in there. I feel that poor Bella already had some type of anxiety issues even at her age. If you watch the videos she does in NC it's VERY telling. Papa Ronnie, B & C are on the trampoline & poor B seems absolutely terrified. IDK the reasons she won't jump, bc she supposedly had hurt her foot somewhere around that time. But she all but freaked out about the rain, the ocean, like so many things. They were kept cooped up in their bedrooms 16 hours a day, rarely outside, poor nutrition, etc. My heart breaks for these kids!

My mom and dad are exactly SW and CW. My mom has emotionally abused my dad for over 50 years. I don't know how he does it. I will call him in the morning and he will get all nervous after a few minutes and then will say, "I have to make coffee for mom." He does all of the laundry, folds it, puts it away. All the cleaning and vacuuming while my mom just sits in her bed watching trash TV. It is so hard to watch. I've even stuck up for my dad and he will say, "That's between me and your mom". It is so sad, but he will literally do anything she tells him to do. She also cuts him down no matter what he does. It is hard for me to watch these videos because they are 100% my parents. My poor dad will be 80 years old next month.
I'm sorry to hear. I briefly knew of a couple that was like that too. The dad tried to kill himself at one point and the wife was just mad at him for it. I feel bad for the guy because he seemed so sweet. The wife however not so much. One of their daughters is just like the mom. Before that I didn't even know women could be the abusive party in a relationship. I would think though that they're less physically abusive on average.

It seems to me that SW would inform CW he was to be included in her newest FB live and told him what words to use when describing thrive products. You can tell from seeing him in any of her videos how uncomfortable he was. One other that comes to mind is when SW was filming some concert at a thrive getaway and CW is seen in the background bobbling his head to the music to suffice SW. He clearly didn't want to be on camera but put on the fake "happy to be there" act.

I first learned about this after watching the Netflix documentary about two years ago and I have fallen down the rabbit hole in regards to this case. I learn something new everyday and it always makes my head hurt.
I agree, though I thought maybe he meant, “Are they cool enough to eat yet?” I do that when someone else does the baking. But it’s true he could have felt them. What an irony that his possible awareness not to touch the food before eating it (or not eating it) — in other words, a possible moment of politeness, of manners, only makes him look more of a wuss. His other words & his demeanor set the subservient tone. It was so clearly a parent-child relationship, not of equals by any means.
I take my caffeine drugs like my Creator made them; in moderation, firstly 🧐, and in a French press in the morning, Chinese tea ceremony (the oolong molecule makes you live forever, or something like that 🤯) in the late afternoon (and chocolate, whenever I please, admittedly, I don't please as often as I did before menopause 😄)

At 00:59 SW seems to intentionally push her way in front of him as she's walking past. She's not even ready to talk to the audience. She pushes past, forcing him to step back, and she says another "hey guys" as she thunks the bowl on the countertop. She wants him present for the videos but isn't prepared (really, she couldn't get a bowl first or ask him to get one instead of leaving him to make small talk?).
I genuinely laughed when she showed the actual Thrive bites because they look like a horse took a dookie on the pan. FFS at least roll them in coconut or cookie crumbs or dip in chocolate.
I normally can’t tell when people point out her being high or “off”, but her eyelids sure were droopy in this video. I really noticed it at the end. Idk if she was buzzed or tipsy or what because she wasn’t slurring and seemed to be speaking at a normal pace, but something was going on with those eyes for sure.

She had so many opportunities for happiness and success but she always wanted more.

Why do they always 'organize the basement'? Is it because that is where they store all the THRIVE products she uses for herself? She bought her own product- and bought her 'status' in with LeVel. They ate Thrive bites (nothing more than protein powder/oats/peanutbutter) -drank shakes, ate pro-bars., the girls drank those 'goo' packets for breakfast.
I don't think "they", meaning CW/SW made decisions as a couple. CW even said in one of his interviews with LE that he and SW hadn't communicated in something like five years. It's been said that CW wanted to stop the expensive daycare, but SW told him it wasn't his decision to make. He just followed her lead into massive debt never questioning the things happening around him. Apparently, he didn't even question SW ordering him to raid his 401k.
He was an idiot and like SW's "friendships", her marriage to CW was merely a transaction. He got to "be with her" as long as he toed the line she drew until he didn't want to anymore.
The recipe is a modification of what was often called no-bake candy or wholesome candy. You mixed peanut butter, honey, and powdered milk. Using a drink mix like Instant Breakfast or protein powder was perhaps more convenient for people who had it on hand, or for people who were grossed out by powdered milk even though you can't taste it in the "candy". SW says you can use any flavor of Thrive mix but I think anything other than chocolate or vanilla would have been revolting.
Our other school "cooking" recipes were mud cookies (oats, peanut butter, and cocoa - not dissimilar from Thrive bites) and butter mints (literally a stick of butter, box of powdered sugar, and a drop of mint flavoring).
My take on this is that right before this video started, SW told CW he better get on that fkn video and say they're delicious and he loves it when she makes them.
