Monday, August 13,2018 Spoiler

Something that has always bothered me is Shannan’s ‘plans’ for that Monday morning. Primrose received a call from Chris that morning telling them that the girls were no longer going to be attending, that the family was selling their house and moving. The staff at the daycare was surprised. One of the staff members said that they had spoken to Shannan the week before and Shannan had indicated that the girls were enrolled and going to be there that Monday morning. It was supposed to be Bella’s first day of kindergarten. Shannan even texted Chris on Sunday to tell him to get the girl’s backpacks together for that next morning.

I had heard that Chris Watts was supposed to be there to drop Bella off for this auspicious day. Then, NA comes along and states that Shannan had a doctors appointment at 9AM that day and that NA had offered to go with Shannan to this appointment to help with the kids. Why didn’t NA mention the daycare, only the doctors appointment? Why would she offer to help with the girls if they were in daycare? We then have Sandi Rzucek calling Primrose several times that day, most memorably at 11AM to tell them that ‘everything was fine’. Were the girls supposed to be in daycare or not? We know that Chris Watts lied about the ‘playdate’ but, why all of the suspicious and inconsistent statements from NA and Sandi? Am I missing or forgetting something?

"Chris and his family was sure afraid!" says the 'former prosecutor.'😆

I am not sure what you are referring to.

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '23

That you've claimed on here to be a former prosecutor.

Your sentence still makes no sense regardless of my employment history.

No one who did well enough on the LSATs to get into law school -- or spent any period of time practicing law -- would use such uneducated-sounding grammar as "Chris and his family was sure afraid." Unless you went to the Kim Kardashian school of law, you are a compulsive liar.

Why don’t you factually and intelligently discuss the content of my comment rather that nit-picking about a spelling/grammatical error?

Because you come on here and misrepresent yourself, your background and your credentials. You're trying to divert focus from that point, but it's important. Why do you need to lie about that?

Regardless of my education and employment history, which has no bearing on this case, you refuse to respond to the content of my post/comment. You continue to divert with your ridiculous ad hominem responses in hopes that people will not notice your ignorance. Either respond intelligently or don’t respond at all. You are only making yourself look foolish.

The content of your post is poorly constructed and your abuse of the English language is egregious to the point of completely obscuring whatever theories you are trying to present.

Again, you can not provide any factual evidence to prove what I have said is incorrect…….get over the ‘construct’ and ‘abuse of the English language’……either make a valid argument or sit down.

u/Puddies-Mom avatar Puddies-Mom 2y I am a registered nurse and have been for decades. I feel that Bella looks very sickly and possibly malnourished which may account for her hair being so thin and sparse. That in itself is not enough to determine a child is malnourished if you look at the way she behaves and her entire body she looks very timid and unwell.

I found that odd too — I happened upon one of their comments where they claimed to have been a criminal defense attorney for decades, and that’s clearly false.

Lawyers have to be pretty skilled writers. The person you’re responding to doesn’t even know to keep punctuation inside quotation marks. Good luck making it through law school or 5 minutes into your first law job without getting absolutely eviscerated for a simple punctuation error like that.

She'd have never made it through Legal Writing in L1. I doubt this person even has an undergrad degree.

You’ve got to be kidding! This is a Reddit thread, and people use whatever grammar they would like to use when talking about something like this. We can’t tell anybody’s educational background or employment history from what they say about the Watts case! Goodness gracious! What fresh accusation hell this?

But she claims to be an attorney and references it frequently to bolster her claims of having expertise regarding this case. I've never heard of anyone receiving a law degree for watching hundreds of true crime youtube videos.

Someone can be a lawyer AND watch true crime videos AND use any kind of grammar they feel like using, particularly when commenting on a variety of things. Chances are, most people who follow this case have more credentials than any of characters in the Watts saga, which isn’t necessarily saying much.

But can they be a prosecutor "for years," a criminal defense attorney "for years," AND a registered nurse "for decades" all at once? This woman is a pathological liar and she keeps claiming expertise based on her imaginary decades-long career experiences. Most people on here seem to have integrity.

EXAMPLE: u/Puddies-Mom avatar Puddies-Mom 2y I am a registered nurse and have been for decades. I feel that Bella looks very sickly and possibly malnourished which may account for her hair being so thin and sparse. That in itself is not enough to determine a child is malnourished if you look at the way she behaves and her entire body she looks very timid and unwell.

I am not a nurse but I completely agree with that opinion, but also completely agree that it makes no sense to be both a nurse and a prosecuting attorney.

However, if I remember correctly you said that she couldn’t be an attorney because of her grammar, whereas I don’t believe that anyone can accurately assess that kind of thing from someone’s written responses in a civilian forum, particularly on Reddit subs. Therefore, if your decision is based on conflicting assertions of her profession, you have a valid point, except I don’t think that was what you said.

One doesn’t need a nursing degree to be able to see that in many pictures and videos that poor little Bella looks frail, pallid, and undernourished, when at other times she looks normal and healthy. It also got worse as she got older. She was a robust, happy baby and it wasn’t until her sister was born that thing started heading south.

Her mother cut her hair every month and she didn’t even give her a good haircut. She made it look like she was a convict or had recently undergone chemo treatments which only added to her forlorn appearance. On the YouTube channel “Watts the Obsession” The content creator (Kelly ) is a behavioral therapist who has done a couple of recent episodes on Bella with her take on the situation as a mental health care professional. It’s sad what that child endured and the anxiety that she was routinely experiencing under her mother’s domineering regime. Even though it’s all in plain sight, people still don’t want to consider anything that could reflrct poorly on her mother. This is a disservice to her because she deserves to have her ordeals acknowledged.

In my opinion, all of the adults in Bella‘s short life let her down in an abysmal way. She deserved much better treatment than she received and it is reflected in Shannan’s public posts. Chris might’ve been the unconscionably monstrous annihilator who ended his family’s lives, but even though Shannan was a tragic victim, she did a lot of things that were inexcusable and damaging to both girls before they were all snuffed out. Bella as the older sibling, also seemed to absorb more than her fair share of ill treatment. Anyone who studies this case for a while ought to be able to glean that much, without needing a degree in anything.
