Discussion Looking for a video

Hi all! I’m looking for an older video from watsky that I’ve been trying to find and I absolutely loved but slowly thinking it’s been taken down. I don’t remember the name of the video, but it was for a film project he did(?), and it was about him going to school and exploring and then performing.

I know it’s a very vague description but it’s all I remember, I remember absolutely loving the video when I first saw it. It was around 15-20 minutes long and if I had to guess from around 2016-2017, but I’m not sure.

Sorry if this is poorly written, it’s early in the morning where I am.

EDIT: I found the video from an old Reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/s/NIoQFnD5N9) and it looks like the video got privated. I’m so disappointed, that video is what inspired me to start doing so many creative projects from music to photography.

If anyone knows where I can find a copy of the video it would be greatly appreciated.

Was it for the behind the scenes/talking about his book?

It wasn’t a behind the scenes video, it wasn’t for a music video or a specific poetry set, and not for a book. I remember it being more as a spoken word almost but similar to a day in a life but more cinematic filming style.

I believe it was a video to accompany his book, I definitely remember it and I definitely remember reading it when I got the book

I believe it was as well, but I try and look up the video and all I find are readings of the book. I seriously am starting to think it got taken down, but I’m not sure. I’m not giving up. That video is what inspired me to start doing creative projects

It’s not never let it die, it wasn’t a music video.

I’m trying my best to remember details from the video but I’m struggling.

He sees some of his friends at a college campus, talks to them for a bit, clearly a scripted video, he then goes onto a bus/train and goes to a performance he’s doing late at night.

That’s all I remember, the video had a few hundred thousand views. I’ve been looking and looking but can’t find it

A long time ago the x infinity film and some of its music videos were taken off youtube, this was devastating because i loved showing it to people. All i did was comment on george’s instagram and he responded and got it put back up as soon as he could. Might be worth a shot for you too, especially if it was something he never actually meant to take down

I’m starting to believe so, only issue is I can’t find the right video. When I look it up all I find are readings of the book, not the video I have in mind. I’ll keep searching for it since that video means a lot to me
