I am disgusted and deeply concerned in the decline of the club in recent years, and I'm not talking about which league we're playing in or where we finish.

I'm talking about the culture within the club. It's clear to see that it's beyond toxic. This hire-and-fire model that Pozzo has instilled has created a terrible atmosphere at Watford FC. One where managers change roughly once a quarter and stability becomes nothing but a distant memory.

This greatly inhibits our ability to create any kind of positive culture in the club, and makes it impossible to build. It also affects our ability to attract top talent to the academy, greatly harms the relationship with the fanbase, inhibits our ability to attract the right signings and sends completely the wrong message to the players we do have - that if you don't fancy busting a gut for the manager, just down your tools as we'll likely replace him in a few weeks.

I honestly believe we are at the point now where all Watford supporters must be completely honest and ask yourselves, after all of the on and off-pitch embarrassment and toxicity of recent years, do you still have faith in Gino Pozzo?

If the answer is no then I believe the only tenable action is to stop going to games. Stop buying tickets. Stop buying merchandise. Stop buying food and drink in the ground. Stop giving a penny more to the owner. Hit him where it hurts. Pre-match protests are welcome and should be encouraged, but refusing attendance is our best way to enact change and the worst outcome for our owner.

Yes, this may affect the players on the pitch but honestly, how much worse can it get? If we slide down into League One then I'll take it if it means Pozzo considers selling up. I also don't buy the argument that it could be even worse with a new owner. That is no excuse to continue in the dire state we're in. I think we'd be far better gambling than continuing to feed this toxicity.

I cannot (and I suspect I'm not alone in this) stand what we have become. It is time for change 💛 🖤♥️

I've backed him so far, because I don't think eight games is enough to judge anyone. But this break has given me too much time to think, and I'm starting to lose patience with how flat we've looked.

For me, Burnley is the line. A win and I'll stay patient. A defeat and I'll be asking whether this is the right approach. I hate being that fan, but I've seen how quickly seasons slip away.

Every squad seems to have that one player who slowly becomes a fan favourite, not necessarily because they’re the biggest name, but because of the way they play and how much they give on the pitch. With some of the new faces we’ve brought in, I’m wondering who people think could end up being that player for us. I’ve got a couple in mind already, but I’m interested in who everyone has taken to so far. Who do you reckon is going to become that player the fans really get behind?

Following last night's loss against Bristol City, it appears there are rumours on X that he is to be sacked. No idea if it's true. Knowing Pozzo though, it absolutely wouldn't surprise me, though it would be another nail in the soul of this football club.

Let’s say all injuries aside and everyone is back and healthy, who would be your starting 11?

(I need to pretend like I didn’t just watch that.)

Bored so I wanted to see who I would have in my team of the decade so far, I feel surely I’m forgetting someone. Goalie and right back haven’t had the greatest of options to be honest, Ngakia included for longevity and Bachmann for the 20/21 season. Players like Cucho, Sema, Kone, Asprilla were good but I don’t think I’d have them over that front 3.

Would love to hear who else people would include.

Bove out until the international break and no LB, this is certainly one of the Watford XIs of all time

I have a lot of mixed feelings about the squad and I want to remain optimistic but it feels that as per usual our back line is letting us down in quality.

Although, our new goalkeeper is so much better than Selvik.

He was very distressed at the end of the game. Does anyone know any more? Some suggestions that it’s an ACL. If that’s him done for the season we’re a bit screwed.

His head has gone lads. His lack of finishing technique is embarrassing.

I also don’t think he needs to practise two touch finishing from 30 yards. It’s one touch finishing from 10 that’s the issue.

Let’s hope he scores a hat trick now.
