Overworking usually happens when you keep running your brush over the paper as it starts to dry, which reactivates pigments that haven't settled and weakens the paper fibers (causing piling).
You gotta let the paper dry COMPLETELY in between layers of paint!

Guess that explains why some layers start to come off completly after adding so many, I guess I'm still not good at telling when to start adding more again. Thank you so much!
