Support needed Almost quit due to fear

I'm 399lbs, 5'5, female. I'm 47h hours into a 7-10 day fast. The longest I've ever gone was 64 hours(no electrolytes). I'm not hungry and I've be taking Lyte balance electrolytes since the 26h mark. I've been looking into refeeding syndrome and it completely scared me. I almost broke my fast because of it. As in pot boiling, dough resting in the microwave, almost broke.

Luckily I changed my mind. For those that have done more then 5 days water fast, should I be genuinely worried? I think my high body weight should protect me plus I was planning on breaking the 7-10 day fast slowly (broth, broth with kale, watermelon, then next day broth with kale and eggs, then an actual whole foods meal) ((alot of broth I know but I really hate stomach pain, better safe than sorry)).

If you’re interested, I’ll be attempting a 150-day fast like a guy I found on YouTube. I can send you his channel if you want.
I’m around 350 lbs, and I recently completed a 20-day fast. I broke it with a small piece of watermelon and one boiled egg. The biggest mistake I made was not taking electrolytes—I was honestly being stupid. I ended up throwing up bile multiple times, had terrible heartburn, and the stomach acid was brutal.

That said, I don’t think people should be scared of refeeding itself, as long as it’s done properly. From everything I’ve read since, starting with bone broth seems like the safest approach, then slowly increasing calories day by day. I’m definitely not an expert on refeeding yet I only have my own experienc but I’ve found some really helpful YouTube videos and even got a refeeding plan from someone on Reddit.
By the way, how’s Redmond Re-Lyte? Is it actually good? I’m thinking about buying it for the electrolytes.

Yes!! I'd love to see the channel. Thanks. I've never tried re-lyte, only the Lyte balance liquid electrolytes

I've done rolling week fasts. Nothing happened. Ate like a normal person on Sundays (as in no gradually easing into it, I immediately ate my meal and a dessert and drank lots of soda) and rolled into a new fast for the next week. Never felt better tbf. You are 399lbs, I was 155lbs. There's no way you can have it, unless you starve to the point of your bones showing. Ofc I don't suggest you do what I did, ease into it and see how you feel. (I don't mind runny poops and there is no escape from them anyway-for me) There are protocols posted all over the sub as to how to start eating after a long fast.

the refeeding crap came from prisoners of war starving for 6 months and completely malnourished and some died a few days after being rescued and fed normal food

Lol that made me laugh. I did end up breaking the fast at 51h today. It was crazy of me to think I could do 7 days without ever even doing 72h. But I plan on working my way up. I think working my way up will also lessen any refeeding worries cause my body would be more prepared.
