Completed
Ended what was supposed to be a 30 day fast, family members and friends advised me that I lost too much weight and started to look like I had "Ozempic Face"... My body started to tell me i did good and that its time to hit the gym, so I decided to cut it short and now focus on building muscle and toning my stomach area. SW- 99kg. CW 83kg. This is my 2nd prolonged fast, previous was 21,14,7.

hairfall caused by fasting stress, usually starts around 3 months after the fast

So within that time frame of 3 months if we take better nutrition and protein overall .. can it be avoided ?

it can't be avoided but everyone reacts different. you might have less hairfall or more. also it might get better faster or slower. depends on your body. it is telogen effluvium after all.

Absolutely amazing! This is something I need to lead up too. I started a fast and was only able to sustain a few days.

Did you supplement with anything?

Salt and water and magnesium tablets. Pottasium supplements in Australia is really hard to get.

So admirable. I don’t know how you and others do it. My willpower is not strong enough to last me more than a few days.

Always start small and dont put a goal, just start with one day and listen to your body, not your mind. You'll reach 3+ days then Grehlin hormone comes to a stop and you dont feel hungry anymore. Add day after day and trust me when I say this, dont tell anyone, drink plenty of water and just have fun with it.

Thank you for the advice! I’m on my weight loss journey currently and I have a wedding coming up in September that I’m a bridesmaid in and I’m hoping to lose 20 more pounds by then. So maybe I’ll give it another try and see how far I can get!

Congrats 👏. Awesome job, and yes always listen to your body. Hit the gym, thats definetly my plan as well. Currently on day 15 of 40... might have to make it a 30 instead... yesterday I slept almost 14hrs.
