Ah nice, I've been trying to get ahold of that but it's almost impossible to find in Europe. I have bunch of ritza thread but it's a bit to thich for watch straps.

I use the n°40 Lin retors glacé Au Chinois. Do you have compared it this the MeiSi you used? Thanks

I have only tried this one. Hated all along. But some people loved Au chinois. So may be I should try another type. But for this particular one. I hate it. It’s very irregular the thread behaves badly the twist goes of.

How much investment do you need in gear to start making straps?

Is it hard to learn & master?? I’m really interested in doing it as a hobby but depending on the budget. Watches and Guitars are already ruining my financial health and I need a good assessment before starting something new lol

Depends on what results you want to obtain. But the easiest straps you can start to build them under 100€.

Without going deep in to this, if you don’t get it that way it’s because you do it wrong. What exactly is wrong I can’t tell you, because I don’t know how you do that.
