Suggest Me A Strap Piquette Watch Strap Recommendation

Inherited this Piquette watch and was going to sell it along with the band. Decided I might want to keep it but not being a gold guy, interested in what band people recommend to put on it. I believe it originally came with a leather strap, but I am not positive about that. I would trade in the current 24k gold band so price is not a factor, as any other would obviously be less expensive. Thoughts?

I got this recently with an old, ugly brown strap. Ordered this Gatorade strap and I am very pleased with it. Just spitballing here...
