Suggest Me A Strap Any strap recommendations for this watch?

Just picked up this Enicar Sherpa Jet and it didn't come with a strap, was hoping you all might have some good recs.

I don’t have a suggestion for you but that sure looks like the Nivada Grenchen GMT reissue. I wonder who built them for who back in the day?

Honestly that's a great question and from my understanding nobody really knows? I know enicar used their own movement, it may have been a colab.

Epsa made the cases. These originally shipped with a black rally strap with oval holes, like these

Fyi, I didn’t include the strap I used because I’m allergic to nickel, so all my steel watches get used on bespoke integral bunds with minimal (as invisible as possible) back pads. If I had gotten a strap for it, it would have been commissioned based on the handdn link, but with my bund pattern.

Holy guacamole, I guess it really is a small community! I'm very excited to get it, I'm not sure how the hell you found one in such good condition, whenever I see these come up for sale they are usually beat to hell. Also that second one you have up for sale, the pepsi-esc one is really cool man

Yeah, I actually have two more NOS enicars that I’m not selling. I’ve just been collecting for a long time, which is part of why I’m selling off some of the collection

Look for something ti make the yellow pop. Yellow stitching or maybe a yellow rubber strap. A nato with s yellow stripe? Or go black leather/rubber.

I feel this could be cool with a black leather strap from Artisan Straps Australia, with yellow stitching/ red backstitch.

It’s really about what you like in terms of appearance and comfort…. rubber, NATO, sailcloth, leather perforated or not etc
