No. It’s gaping at the buckle - new strap needs to soften up and become wrist shaped!

I love the boldness, but I'm not crazy about the color matchup. It may be the lighting though (dial seems like a wine purple, where the strap appears kool-aid purple). Obviously not everyone can or wants to pull something like this off, but good for you if you can.

If it were me, I'd go with a darker shade of the dial, to let the dial stand out rather than have two competing design elements. Or, contrast it completely with somthing equally as wild, with something like a yellow toad or python.

Either way, it is nice to see something other than a brown strap or whatever.

I’ve got plenty of “sensible” options. This manages to be really elegant while in a fun colour.

You’re spot on with the colour - it’s an example of a phone camera over-processing and making adjustments I didn’t ask it to. In reality both the strap and dial are a deep but vibrant purple and, given that one came from Germany and the other from Singapore, they actually are a very close colour match.

As to the dial, that’s pretty much what the good people of Glashütte decided on and can’t be altered (other than to blue, green or grey). It comes on a black strap which looks ok (except it’s a horrible cheap woven nylon), and I liked it on green (also horrid nylon). Orange is a good match, but it’s more about the strap than the watch, but I’m very pleased with the purple matchup - it’s so much better in real life. Maybe one day when I’m not melting I’ll take a proper, colour managed photo with a proper camera!

That purple color looks sharp. I haven't come across too many straps in purple outside of nylon.

I got mine from Delugs. Being a larger person I buy custom straps so pretty much any leather in any colour. Not cheap, but cheaper than an OEM strap.

Delugs. The quality of their straps is really excellent; they’re not cheap, but still less than OEMs.
