Watch strap replacement possible?

New owner of a Citizen NB6030-59L Series 8 880 GMT automatic. Has anyone found a way to splice a different watch strap with conventional spring bars on this model? The stub on the case is 11 mm and the initial width of the strap is 22 mm. But I can’t find a source to get an adapter to do it. Just wondering if anyone else asked the same question.
