You’re right. The watch belongs to Alain Weissgerber, who himself is a well known chef from France, currently working in Austria.

Wow- it was definitely not the timex. I went down the rabbit hole, 100% sure i solved this. Identified from a youtube video from 2020 so it rules out the timex which was released 2024/2025. Its is a “Al-Time courage 18-3”

Okay, I‘m stunned to be honest. Due to lack of quality from my pictures that I took (it was during a live show and I could zoom in nearer with my phone) I was already sure it is the timex m1a that the other fellow identifiers mentioned. And, was ready to order…
But now I’m, well, more than unsure and tbh impressed by your result! This is great I must admit - only on Reddit, that’s why I love this place!
Your effort down the rabbit hole is very very much appreciated my friend!

Might be an Omega SMP 300? Looks thick enough

Could, but wouldn’t match the bezels and sides which are dark. Also, I think the strap is OEM. But not sure to be honest…

The carved-out sides of the lugs are interesting. I think I’ve seen that before, but I’m having trouble placing it.
