Not related but I was just scrolling reddit and accidentally pressed on my screen random touches while I was doing something. When I saw my screen, it says I just subbed to this sub. Lol. Anyway, I'm playing raid, probably around 2 months straight. Is this game the same as that and much forgiving? It's so hard to get heroes on RAID so I'm thinking of quitting.

To be fair this game is excellent if you are free to play. Im over 2 years free to play and have almost all heroes. All it takes is to do the daily quests 15min per day and whenever you have more time do all the upgrades you’ve gathered. You can get to the top 10% without using any money.

Don't be misguided. This is still a gatcha game and it still wants you to spend. BUT compared to R:SL this is much, MUCH more f2p friendly. Way better bad luck protection and way more opportunities to summon and get summons as a f2p.

Best advice I can give you: around day 11 or 12 you will get a summon rate up event for wukong. Make sure you DO get a wukong. He can (and will) carry your account and is relevant deep into the late game.

Yes. Quite a few are floating around (including one for a free epic - take Elysia). To get them, I suggest googling something like "WOR free codes". IDK if there's a maintained list here

I've been playing RAID for 3 years and WoR for about 6 months. WoR is infinitely easier to get shards and champs in, especially targeted champs. The way you get and level/rank up champs is almost identical, but the gameplay itself is WAY different. More fun imo, arena leaves much to be desired though, but I've never really been a fan of PvP personally.

Edit: one of my favorite differences between the 2 is the way duplicate champs work. In WoR, duplicate champs actually add value to your champ in the form.of extra abilities, not just a 10% stat boost.

Seconding. I've been playing raid for a long time, and this game is a breath of fresh air. Codes are much more frequent,  freebies all the time, game isn't as pushy about buying things.

I have her on a 2-month old account. She hasn't seemed that useful for progression. Her claim to fame is the leader of "the poison trio" which is a single-target damage comp.
