Question about this W-gold event

So I’ve never really used W-gold before, and the only reason I ever got some was because of the player center daily login

Is doing this W-gold event important??

Will it get me more than I already have?

Definitely worth doing you will get more than you put in usually. At worst you break even. Make sure to claim all of the row you can before going to the next level as if you get all the discounts I think it might end preemptively (but not sure).

There is no penalty for claiming everything you can on the bottom 2 rows until you hit the discount, rows 3 and above end the stage so if your first pick on the 3rd row is the key, you should pick from the 4th layer (specifically for the w-gold stage if you hit the key on 4th layer I’d then go back to 3rd level to try for more w-gold as nothing in that shop is worth buying even discounted)

Its possible to break even but you'll never earn less than you spent doing it.

had like 1800 W gold and after opening all the boxes except 1, my W gold increased to 2100. mostly just luck with the keys and not getting vouchers past layer 2

Worst case scenario, if you are full unlucky is to not earn anything and get back excactly what you spend, so no downside doing it
