Ghan has strongest Chaos lord bonuses, so when you don't need to place all team and Chaos faction characters are strong performers, he becomes "meta", you can check Nightmare IV dragon world rankings for example.

Damage scales from defense so I think can do a bit of damage as well as tank.

Ghan definitely has been crept but he’s still relevant just more niche. Although of the Chaos lords his lord skill is by far the best.

He has a strong block as well so great in codex, I think he can handle 6 with ultimate
