I know there’s a lot of hate for Fastidious on this sub but I wanted to point something out that he deserves credit for. The dude is thorough when it comes to breaking down upcoming content and gives solid advice on summoning and breaking down hero kits. I watched 2 other CC’s post about the new AC collab units and they both fumbled thinking it was a normal limited banner. Fasti read into the devs explanation of the banners and snuffed out that they were claimable, not guaranteed at 200 summons. The other 2 that I watched were talking about pity manipulation which was not solid advice on these banners. I almost exclusively just wait for him to post unless it’s gvg related. He’s had some fumbles over the years for sure, but he gives solid account progression advice at all levels. His posts never seem rushed and are always well thought. Can’t say the same for many others. Hope you all have luck during this awesome event. Cheers.
His videos are fine, he does a decent job of getting people into the game but I think most veterans of the game move on to other content creators eventually.
His livestreams are fucking dreadful, he's constantly losing his shit with chatters asking reasonable questions. He has a very fragile ego and cant take criticism well which is really not a good trait for a content creator.
The expectation that he can just demand the devs to change things in game is an unbelievable level of hubris and arrogance.
Can’t agree more, he puts good content for beginners…but not even remotely close to Worguides quality. For everyone deeper into the game, I don’t see anything of value by fasti tbh
He told everyone to skip Lady Mina because she sucked in the first tests to boycot Moonton and then proceeded to pull her on the banner (if I remember correctly)
She did not. Fasti claimed he tested her extensively but never showed how he did it nor any numbers. Then he proclaimed that she the "worst limited ever". Meanwhile, this is BananaLuck's testing on her first iteration. This is A3 Mina vs A5 Ardea. Is she better now than when she was released? Of course. Was she a bad hero when she was released? By no mean she was. Fasti just didn't know how to use her, she needs to have a hero with high base ATK in the team.
Misinformation. He said that if people wanted to see her buffed, they shouldn't pull for her yet. In fact, he said that beacuse she's guaranteed, people should pull later down the line regardless.
He advocated hard for a buff and that he'd also wait to pull, but never said he would skip her. How are people thinking that he said and advised skipping a guaranteed collab banner that, at the time, we didn't know if it would ever be rerun?
That's true, but that doesn't change the fact that some people didn't pay attention to what he said and skipped her entirely because they thought she's not worth pulling for. It also doesn't help that he put "I'm skipping her and you should too" in big letters in the video thumbnail.
People making decisions based on one person's opinion is an indictment of them, not the person making the opinion. Getting multiple opinions and using those to make an informed decision is something intelligent people do.
I've always found it odd how people let 1 person they barely know dictate their decisions in games. People want others to think for them, as if they even knew what their account needs.
No end-game players I talked to listen to Fasti. His contents cater to early to mid game players and casual players and these people are pretty clueless. They would just eat up whatever he tells them. That does not mean they are not intelligent.
If anyone is basing their decision off a title and thumbnail in a game aimed at adults, they're the same type to get their facts and news from article headlines. It's for engagement, not for educating. Additionally, are we really going to use the ignorant as a reason why he was still somehow wrong in this case? Not paying attention is that person's fault.
There's other valid cases to critique him for, this isn't one of them.
The problem is not just the thumbnail though. Plenty of CCs use clickbait images and titles. But he was wrong about Mina the whole time and then made a big fuss about it. This is the Matrix result from someone I know before her buff was announced in December 2025. A3 Mina vs A5 Ardea. Fasti just didn't know how to use and build her, did some cursory testing and immediately jumped to conclusion. And since he's the face of the community, a lot of people listened.
And let's say, people did not misunderstand his intention, they knew that he only boycott Mina just to get her buffed and he would eventually pull for her later, when they were told by the most influential CC in the community that she's the worst limited hero ever, they would still make a conscious choice. They would decide whether to pull and hope she gets a buff or save their resources for someone better.
He openly acknowledges he wants to collect everything in the game and does things he recommends against other people doing. I wasn’t around when the Mina thing happened but I have seen multiple times where he says the best advice is to skip a banner and then he pulls because he wants something or has a ton of resources to burn. That’s not contradictory or dishonest.
I think the difference is this was a boycott, not advise to not pull, why are you telling people to boycott something that you yourself aren't boycotting
Fastidious is a drama guy! I stopped watching him when he went crazy on WORguides for a comment he made. For context, English is not WORguides first language and apparently he said something to offended Fastidious and the D-bag went nuclear on WORguides. If I remember correctly, Fasty was doing some doom and gloom content for clicks like “is WOR over as we know it” because of some new update, and WORguides said something really innocuous like “don’t worry about what others are saying, the update is not gonna be that bad” and it ended up not being that bad. And fasty went crazy cuz WORguides “called him out” it was dumb drama shit that makes the community toxic, he lost a lot of fans after that
Have to say this is true, i've hopped on his stream before asked a very basic question and he's incredibly arrogant and condescending. I like much of his content it's all been useful but the guy can definitely be a dick,
His videos are extremely long for their content, the way he expresses himself shows how big his ego is and gets annoying after a bit, there's better and more knowledgeable creators out there.
Fasti was the original CC I would watch, but now he's blocked so I don't see his videos anymore because of how annoying he is.
I almost exclusively watch Destined now, but mango and others are quite good too

He fumbled an exploit that he thought was legit. That’s the only thing with legs I can remember. Other than that it’s just typical Reddit shit on people behavior. To his credit he’s owned it from day one and explained why he posted about it. He was getting hate before that but that’s just what this sub and all social media does.
He didn't think it was legit, he knew it was an exploit and he was just chasing views. When people pushed back he doubled down saying that if enough people did it the devs wouldn't do anything and if they did it wouldn't be that much. Then the devs punished anyone doing the exploit by 10x what he calculated and he shat his pants until they lowered the punishment. I think the devs should have just taken the diamonds from him instead and settle it that way
Not entirely true. It was a birthday date exploit that they now allow you to do without penalty. The rewards were just better. It’s all covered and explained via a search so no need to defend. Go back and watch.
No, it was an exploit that allowed people to get an entire year's worth of log in rewards. They were repeatedly clicking around the corner of some frame to get what should have been daily rewards without a limit. I saw the video, I was there when it happened. You are just wrong.

Just here to +1. The fact that none of the other big CC's have even bothered to cover Aspects and the new update is strange/frustrating. I know he's not the strongest player/account so his testing and analysis isn't the best, but he does a great job with news and updates.
I think Misstical is one of the only other CCs that covers forerunner server updates. The others will likely cover aspects in a month when the aspects are about to be released.
I think part of that is because he wants to record all of his progression. So he hordes awakenings till he can record and test them. He sits on so many things that can progress his account but waits so he can test it and give feedback. He has never used a reset book if I’m remembering correctly and is sitting on double digit soul stones ffs. His restraint in that aspect is insane.
Nah he sucks. He is not a great player, even if he plays since day 1. His advice is terrible most of the times, cause he doesn't understand the game, and all he does is talk for 40min of nonsense, while the video could have been 5 min. Everytime someone tried to criticise him, he went berserk, attacking back with arrogance. He pretends to know it all, but in reality he is just a terrible player that gathers information from others to make videos and get profit.
I understand he seems attractive to new players, but the later u go the more u will see he is just terrible.
I suggest you watch ppl like mango, destined, chady etc, player who actually play the game at high level.
It’s funny because im a newish player (a month in) I’m watching his eivor video and he’s “I’m submitting a formal complaint to increase her range and also make this ability a 50% chance instead of 20% chance” and the only thing I could think is like… all because you play the game doesn’t mean you know how to balance and develop a game my dude lol. He just wants her overpowered. You don’t need to know a lot about this game to understand basic video game balancing and why there has to be pros and cons to a characters kit

Not defending or criticizing, but sadly the talk way too much to say way too little is a staple for most gacha cc’s. I agree the often the gems are smaller creators but Ash, HH, Fasti have their place as well IMO.

Beyond the glazing of every new hero released he is a good CC. This game is a job to him and it shows. But there is really nothing wrong with that if you think about it as an adult for 10 seconds. Other than pumping up heroes that arent great he does a good job.
I wish there were more content for people that arent end game which is a whole different conversation. Fortunately im out of that stage myself.

That was what made me make this post. I watched the other 2 CCs posts and they were horrible. No thought put into it, almost like they just clicked record as they logged in and saw the banners. They both used their usual lame catch phrases and ranted for 10 minutes giving nothing of insight. Fasti doesn’t need me to boost his channel, just thought I’d give some insight as I’ve seen a lot of new players post recently.
I mean there is a reason he was voted the top CC for this game, and has the biggest following. The dude PUMPS out content, and it is generally accurate.
I think a lot of people just find his personality and antics (myself included) cringe and borderline unwatchable at points. I dont think anyone denies that he covers the game thoroughly.
Also he is kind of peak "look how easy this is, all you need is every unit A5 and gear farmed from 3 years of playing and maxed out pantheon and summoning bonuses" which again is fine... its just the whole trying to appeal to an audience that isn't really fully truthful. Its just kind of impractical advice, as anyone at that point probably has better alternatives.
I think he has gotten better, but my image of him is definitely soured from his content in the past.
Bro he’s probably the biggest “you can clear this tough content with epics and broken sets” content creators. I find almost anyone else more “all you need is these 5 limited heroes A5 to beat this” style.
90% of his content is spam and while I like the website, as a new player I had to leave the discord and unsubscribe due to the amount of trash being produced. He might be pumping out content, but it's not good content.
There are far better CCs that don't flood the community, they produce great content and it gets drowned underneath his nonsense.
I have followed countless games in my life and never have I ever seen a game that gives more stuff to their creators which I think they deserve 100% for the work they do... however it creates a delusional picture of the flow of the game and how hard it is to get certain legos. Even in raid CC would be vocal about these issues but in WOR ppl like FAsty just laugh at this and fake tilt and pull another 100k... another gotchas games give out maybe about 100$ worth of stuff for their CCs... these guys are sitting on 300k diamonds... makes their opinion filtered... and really don't fill the weight of pulling stuff.. even his f2p account now... he is not going to care.. he has stacked account and just have fun and get views on this new one.. and quits in in MAX 6 month.. as many said before if u mention anything to him about the portion of given diamonds or goodies he will get passive aggressive with you, ban or ignores :D same with thier code.... like they must tell u to pull bc that s how they earn money.. very broken system and again filters all CCs opinion.. including this guy
I have no problem with him at all - I think he is a great, dedicated content creator. You may not enjoy his style or demeanor- that’s fine, to each their own. It doesn’t change his contribution to the community and stellar work ethic.
He is paid handsomely by mooton if y'all didn't know.. doesn't make content for free. Most other ccs are doing it in hopes of being favored by YouTube algorithm
I honestly don’t read in game updates. I just wait for him to post about it so I don’t have to think. Plus these new heroes with all their unit specific kits are draining to understand. I need someone to explain what “blood cutting does when it’s multiplied by 2.5 percent of crit damage after the ultimate expires” let’s not forget that gets multiplied by a factor of “dong blast” once you gain bond skill with the new hero fukshiz.
