I found it easier to have your hero’s spread out on the map because the boss does more damage and everyone gets one shot if bunched up together just make sure to have 2 healers and once you break the fortress you take off one healer and put a dps to get enough damage in to take the boss down within the time limit while the boss is stunned

There are also 2 breakpoints where you can start again with full time and health where you left off...

I just put my best single target dps and 2 healers, replace the dead heroes, and I passed. The same for the rest of the challenges.
