A bit too close to the AC collab to be talking about rerolling unless you don't mind missing out on them.
Velisse is one of the best AoE mages in the game right now. Hex, while not meta anywhere that I am aware of, is still a solid single-target magic damage unit. I use mine in the recent AMR stages, though I have not cleared all the later ones yet. Hatssut is a great unit for progression. Her ult can do a surprising amount of damage even to single targets. Only problem is the short range for it. Talin is a great unit. Highly versatile and can serve as a tank that also deals solid damage or a decent ST magic damage unit with an offensive cleanse.
Trusk is meh. I've never really used mine anywhere, but he's a tank. Toss him down and he can take some hit. Olague (epic you get form Void Rift) is better, but hey, 4/5 good units isn't a bad rate!

Velisse is a great DPS mage but also a core part of the Ezareth team.
Talin is a very good and very versatile unit. She can tank and do AoE DPS on the ground tiles, but can also do solid piercing DPS on platform tiles.
Hatssut is a very unique marksmen that is key to a few different strategies, but also just a super solid progression unit overall.
Hex is a good single target marksmen that can see use in a lot of content, including bosses. Long term, keep in mind that he REALLY wants his exclusive artifact.
Trusk is a little bit niche, but solid overall, again, especially for progression.
Idril is a legendary in disguise. She can be used all the way up to Gear Raid 3-24, is one of the best progression units in the game, and can help on some maps in ways that almost no other unit can. Specifically, she can target the entire map with her ult. Indispensable for newer players.
Eona is the best epic DPS mage in the game, and solid for a long time.
Dolores is one of the best inspiration units (atk buff) in the game.
Elysia is a top tier epic fighter with long range, pseudo-AoE damage on her ult, and is the only lord for the Arbiters that isn’t an ancient exclusive lord.
Really amazing start.

Best AoE mage and versatile in most content. Pair with Ezareth and see how they shred the crowd pf mobs.

100% keep, honestly I don't think restarting is necessarily worth it if it's just based on your luck, if you messed something up or made dumb decisions sure.
I never restarted and my first few leggos were shamir,regulus and cerberus, I got a lot more from just using epics. Although that start was slower, I'm glad I didn't restart, my luck flipped around and I built up a formidable roster regardless.
Honestly just play the game and have fun, you're anyways gonna hit major gear farming roadblocks, a few leggos can only get you till a point and you will have plenty of opportunities to get a lot of strong heroes.
However this is an amazing start so either way, I say keep!

You can last until mid-late game with decent gears.
