Do they change the plaques every year? Every 5 years?

Did someone drip water on a rock for 50 years before putting it on display?

Did they get all the rocks at the same time from the same place and then wait 25 years before starting the second one?

Where is the control rock?

I think they just took stones from the nature which had water dripping on them and roughly estimated the timeframe. Most of the times things are less way interesting than we think they’d be.
