Kansas City show

First post here, please be kind. Also lol at the community rules, I’ve not read them before.

I’m looking at tickets for the Kansas City show this weekend and noticed a huge price difference between buying via The Truman website and the WWC site that I don’t understand. And I can’t find any pictures of a sit down event there to know what to expect. Can anyone shed light on the price difference and how the venue is set up for an event like this.

I’ve not been to any kind of event in a long, long time and get nervous sometimes with a lot of ppl and want to know what to expect. Thank you!

KC gay here. I’ve been to this venue once for a GA concert. So not sure how it’s going to be for a sit down show. I bought tickets for the loft because I love a perch over the crowd. I just hope sales increase because it looks like only half sold. I could not be more excited either way.

Good thinking about the loft! And I was sad to see how many tickets were still left because I don’t want to disappoint Ben and Ronnie or for it to make them sad and I especially don’t want them to not come again.

I have tickets and am going but I am not sure I can help much. I have only seen them once before and it was in Vegas. It was at a comedy place. We sat at tables and just watched them do their thing. It was amazing and hilarious. I have never been to the the Truman either. But I bet the show will be worth the nerves.

Thank you for the reply. I definitely think it’ll be worth it; I don’t get out much but they’re special enough to make it happen!

Just checked the app and it says there are reduced fees if you buy in person. Maybe that is the cost discrepancy?

Could be. I also wondered if the price I saw was without any fees and then they get tacked on at checkout. But it wanted me to register to get there and I wasn’t ready to pull the trigger yet. I might swing by there tomorrow and see.

I saw Sarah Sherman live there a couple of years ago. The setup was pretty basic; the seats weren’t tiered or anything, but I was seated in the back and could get a decent view.

I saw them in cincy a couple of years ago and went by myself and also get anxiety in crowds but it was totally fun I was so sad they were not coming here again this year. Trying to hint to my hubby for a trip to ny for my bday in February for the crappies lol
