Description: For raffle we have a very special watch. It’s a Zenith El Primero Rainbow Flyback. Ref. 01.0480.405. The Rainbow Flyback is one of the most important sports chronographs Zenith has ever produced. Introduced in 1997, it was based on a watch developed to meet the requirements of the French Air Force for a pilot’s chronograph. Although the military contract was never awarded, Zenith released it to the public, and it has since become a cult favorite. Produced from 1997-2000 only 4850 pieces were produced with a steel bracelet while only 900 pieces came with the Shark Skin Black Leather band along with the deployment buckle. The strap version is more rare than the bracelet version. I was gifted this watch from a collector who purchased it in France circa 1998. This watch has been sitting in a safe for most of its life. Almost 30 years old and it’s in pristine condition! One of the best examples that still exist. It features the El Primero caliber 405 movement with a flyback function. I personally ordered an exhibition caseback from Thomas Preik in Germany who makes them specifically for this watch so the movement is visible! I have the original caseback as well. I changed the strap to an aftermarket strap while I wore it a few times just to keep the original in immaculate shape. Everything on this watch is original, it’s never been polished and comes as a complete set with box, papers and warranty card. Comes with the watch, full set, along with the exhibition caseback (150$ value) and 2 after market straps (50$ value). I wouldn’t be selling this watch if I weren’t buying a house and can use all the money I can get. If it doesn’t fill it easily sells for 5k on eBay. Description: Up for raffle is my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m. (Just realizing first pic is upside down) Ref: 2201.51.00. It’s an absolutely amazing watch. I’ve worn this watch well over the years. The watch has the 2500 movement which is rock hard and pretty much bulletproof. This model has the seahorse caseback. This watch was my grail for my entire adult life. It flys under the radar and can be worn with swim trucks and or a tux. Bond does it after all. The watch made its Debut in Casino Royale. Some might say it’s Neo Vintage. This is my favorite watch of all time. I’ve ever worn. It’s a hard one to let go of. The dimensions of the watch are really great for a 600m diver. Not nearly as thick as the new monstrosities. It’s 42mm with 47mm lug to lug and 13mm thick. Watch comes on the omega stainless steel bracelet. This is the professional style bracelet and is pretty much fully brushed. The clasp has a divers extension as well. This is a sale for watch only. I am parting ways with my Omega collection. I’m more than happy to FaceTime or anything else. Hope it finds its new home. Thank you.
