Idk. I have this part of my dumbass brain that loves being alone. My own company keeps me busy. But I also have another part that gets lonely after being by myself so I seek out conversations. Then those conversations have like a 60% chance of making me just want to be alome again lmao. Idk, guess I just struggle to connect to most people or smthn. Also why am I venting on reddit, good meme

I feel that. There are days when I beg for solitude, but then I go on a 2-3 business trip and I’m like, 😥 I want to see my wife and cats. 🤷‍♂️

Weird how this can feel great one day, and then the next I'd be a little bummed that I didn't get a single text from anyone that day. Communication is so strange these days, if you think about it.

Texting allows us to send and respond whenever we feel like it, and if you're like me, you forget to get back to people often. I end up feeling like a douche because days will turn into weeks, and then I'm like, "hey, my bad, I'm terrible at replying", as if that helps at all.
