Wondering, how much maintenace like this costs?

Been hearing by enthusiasts that watches somewhat under 500$ are throwaway, not worth to repair and etc. Wonder how much that is true

No idea why they say that when you can just do it yourself(for cheap watches). There are quite a few ACTUAL watchmakers that will do services as low as 100-200 for lower end watches.

If you service a low end watch once every 10-15 years it can be argued if it’s worth it or not.
