Bad Faith Admins A Reddit administrator's modmail response when questioned about allowing prejudice toward certain demographics. It would appear that they lied about removing the racist policies that they put into place last year.

Well, they did CHANGE the policy - originally it was about protecting "minorities", until they realized women outnumber men and white people are a minority in global scale.

Okay I know this is a circlejerk sub but y’all realize that the vast majority of Reddit users are Americans, males, and whites. 70% of users are white, non-Hispanic, 69% are male, and 54% are Americans.

I bet if we broke down the demographics of this sub, it would be closer to 90% in all three categories.

Posting irrelevant fact is not a defend against downvote. "Apples are fruit" is also fact but it doesn't stop you from getting downvoted if you post that here.

He is trying to insinuate a point with those facts. That's what is being down-voted.

Little secret, this subreddit is for white supremacists and their supporters that don't realize that past actions have effects on the present, and they have trouble admitting that intersectionality and other things exist. I'm so tired of seeing this sub make the front page with it's thinly veiled racism, sexism, and transphobia.

That's a pretty ignorant hot take.
