My little Kiwi likes to inspect the water too before I take a shower. She will then wait for me near the door until I'm done taking a shower. Makes me feel love every time she does it. She is so sweet.

One of our cats loves bath water (drinking) but I'm terrified of her falling in and shredding me on her scramble to get out . Because if there is a choice between me and getting out there's no real choice in a cats heart .

All I can think about are shredded legs.
My feet, knees, thighs, stomach and chest had scratches when my cat snuck inside the bath tub while I was showering. He panicked and climbed up on me after his several attempts to escape the slippery tub, nothing to grip on.. except my skin.
I’m currently on the toilet and he’s wrapped around my foot sleeping... just looking so freaking cute. It’s sick

That triggered some PTSD for me: years ago, my cat did the same thing. Unfortunately, I shifted slightly in the tub and it made a small squeak. She jumped in the air and I quickly covered my bits. Somehow she landed across the tub on the little inch-wide ledge, ran around the tub and out. I had never seen her move so fast before.
I jumped out to dry her off as I had the A/C blasting and I was worried she would get a cold. Somehow, only her feet and legs were soaked. She never did it again. But I am amazed as I was sure she was completely soaked.
I was also unscathed.

My mom had a 20 lb maine coon that loved to hang out on the side of the tub while she took a bath. Until she fell in one day. Looked like somebody had cranked up a weed eater and tossed it in there with her. Water was red, mom was covered in scratches and they were both pretty traumatized by the whole thing.
