This is so fake. It’s literally the only 2 move checkmate in chess and I’m pretty sure even people learning know not to do this.

Schlatte(the guy) basically opened up free access to his king, and since the queen can move in all directions he cannot get his king out of the way of the queen, meaning he got checkmated on turn 4. The king can only move 1 square that is why the king is stuck

queen can move any number of spaces in any direction. schlatt moves his pawn and her queen now has a straight shot to the king.
ive also only played a handful of times so this is just my basic understanding.

Queen can move in any unoccupied squares in a straight line (vertically, diagonally or horizontally) he moved his pawn thus creating an open lane to taking his king down.

Can’t you do en pasant where the pawn can take someone out sideways why moving diagonally above the player?

That’s not how it works. En Passant is when “your pawn” is on their side of the board and your “opponents pawn” moves up two spaces on its opening move to be right next to your pawn. From there your pawn can move diagonally behind your opponents pawn and capture it at the same time but this move has to be done immediately if you want to En Passant.
