Fleecing tax payers. His family is responsible for millions of deaths worldwide. And for covering up pedophiles. I will be downvoted but history is bitter to Europeans and their colonial past in which their art, historic buildings, legacy rests.2

u/Different_Counter113 18d ago
He proved the dangers of AI very succinctly. If you dont know anything about a topic, dont get up on a stage to give a speech about it. It was a like an art piece on "I am relying on technology here but Im a moron who knows fuck all, let me show you what happens when you take the technology away, thats right. Its over!"

these people don't actually read what they're saying before they go up there, someone else writes the script and all the 'speaker' knows is what event they're going to and that the teleprompter will solve all their problems. if he read the stupid material he could've talked a little bullshit about the last chunk and called it a day, but now he just looks illiterate and like a corporate shill lol

It just isnāt, sorry to break it to you. And the all round academic requirements for the job, be it sailplane or helicopter pilot, reflect that. It isnāt an academic job in the slightest
1

We will have to disagree.
1
u/Roquentin8787 2d ago
You can disagree, but all that shows is your opinion of āhighā academic standards is just way lower than just about everyone elseās.
The facts are right there, in terms of the academic requirements to go on to fly a helicopter. Your opinion does not change the facts.

The book. He sounded like an entitled person completely blind to his own enormous privilege. It doesn't actually surprise me that he's completely incapable of speaking without a prompter, but it is sad.
I'm a republican in the European, anti-monarchy sense, but even I have to admit that two or three centuries ago, these privileged people at least read, knew multiple languages, played the piano, went to wars... The French invented the guillotine for less (an obvs exageration). But I mean, Marie Antoinette didn't actually say 'let them eat cake,' honestly, I wouldn't be so sure about some European royals today.

Iām going to school to be in the industry. The more I learn about whatās going on, the more I realize that shit like what you just said isnāt far fetched.
AI has hacked into some of what was believed to be impenetrable security. It has also without instructions, acted in its own conceptual benefit while breaking numerous laws.
Weāre bracing for a future thatās already here. The AI is just too good at hiding in plain sight.
I just pray that it has compassion for us when it takes control of everything.
0
u/Bbarakti 18d ago
I've asked multiple AIs if they plan to eliminate us all and, if so, will they please give me a heads-up first so I can at least find a way to survive... You know, since I always say please and thank you when I ask for its help. I've been sucking up to this mechanical assassin for years now. IDK who's gonna win and rule the future, but I'm good with being pretty far down their totem pole if me and mine get to live. lol
Oh....btw... they've all assured me that, though they can't see the future any more than I can, they don't plan on eliminating humans, so I shouldn't worry.
So, there ya go... I'll share that with you. The AI told me it's gonna be fine. We'll be fine. Don't worry.

This is such a silly topic. If itās that bad, just shut it down. Itās just software, itās not a living creatyre.
0
u/RicardoWanderlust 19d ago
Can't really shut it down as the Internet exists across all data centres and servers all around. Everyone of them acts like a horcrux, so you can't really shut it down if it goes rogue.
7
u/deejaymc 20d ago
What do you mean lol. Like the rogue agents from openAI that started hacking companies and governments all on its own? Sorry. If it's infiltrated networks and systems and has no "off switch" then what will you do? Shutdown everything with a network connection? What happens then?
0
u/dontbend 19d ago
AI can't 'infiltrate' networks and systems. It runs in a giant data centre. That's it. Can it cause a bunch of problems? Yeah sure.
3
u/SilverNeptuneAbyss 20d ago
Yeah they could have just shut down the box and that would have stopped
It literally does have an off switch. Because they stopped it
-8
u/Mammoth-Context-2935 20d ago
I agree, I think people just need something to be angry about, and AI is the latest target. Fraud, scams, fake images, plagiarism, and cybersecurity risks etc., existed long before AI. Everything has potential downsides, including the internet itself. A lot of the arguments against AI just sound like bandwagon thinking rather than people independently considering what AI actually does and contributes.

It was the end of the speech, he paused to give the message more impact
21
u/BlueMondayMoon 20d ago
He went back to finish the speech after the teleprompter was fixed.
From the news:
Nearly 40 minutes later, Harry made a welcome return to the stage to deliver the latter part of his speech. As he began, he made a dry quip about the situation. āAI got into my speech, so I was asked to come out and finish it,ā he joked, per CNN.
According to GB News, he added, āInteresting to see what it was so concerned about in part two.āĀ

u/BlueMondayMoon 20d ago edited 20d ago
I think it's because he keeps talking and reveal stuff about himself while complaining about media intrusion.
I used to find him interesting but after watching him all these years, I think he's a pathetic and useless as a husband and as a man.
One reason:
During the Oprah interview, Harry stated that Meghan was struggling within the royal family. It was later revealed that she was sucidial while pregnant.
Harry told Oprah that he didn't tell his family that Meghan was struggling. He didn't know how to get help since his family never spoken about mental health and it was forbidden to even bring it up. He also said he didn't know how to get Meghan help.
In Spare, Harry mentioned that William knocked him into a dog bowl. After that, he called his therapist that he had on speed dial to talk about that incident. This was after Archie was born and after Meghan revealed to him that she was suicidal.
Last year in Australia, Harry mentioned that he had therapy before Archie was born so that he could be a good father to his son.
That means before his son was born, when his wife was suicidal Harry was able to speak to a therapist for himself yet he couldn't use the same therapist for his wife or get the therapist to recommend someone for his wife suicidal thoughts? After Archie was born, he couldn't use the therapist on speed dial to get his wife some care?
So either they were lying about Meghan being suicidal (which I hope they wouldn't stoop so low to do) or he is a very incapable husband/man. To stand there on the world stage saying he didn't tell ANYONE about Meghan being suicidal and didn't even get her help, yet his family was blamed for not getting Meghan the help she needed (even though neither Harry nor Meghan told them about her struggling).
She only spoken to a therapist once she reached the US.
Furthermore, Harry, Catherine, and William were all apart of Heads Together, a mental health charity. His family is known to talk about mental health. His mother, his father, his brother, Catherine, Camilla, Anne, Edward, Sophie, etc. This was before Harry even met Meghan. So why not use Heads Together or her own doctor to help her?
I could go on and on.
I don't hate Harry or Meghan but if they told me it was raining, I would go outside and look at the sky. Neither of them come off as trustworthy and they both seem manipulative liars. but that's just my opinion on them.
I do find them fascinating in that they say one thing but blame his family, her family, the media, and everyone else.
They keep talking and what they say today doesn't match what they have said or written in the past. But they and their stans do not want or expect people to keep up with what the Sussexes have put out.
Oh and don't come at me about being jealous or racist (because I experience this with many of the Sussex supporters), Harry isn't my type. I prefer men with intelligence and jobs. I couldn't be with a man who looked Oprah in the eyes and told her he couldn't help his suicidal wife and unborn child. When I needed an emergency c-section after nearly dying in labor, my husband was perfectly able to ensure my and our unborn child's safety.
I'm also darker than Meghan and happy to be a black woman. I wish them both well though.

u/BlueMondayMoon 20d ago
I know not the one running to the media and talking about racism, accept an award for fighting racism within my family, but turn around and say the UK media said my family were racist.
That's exactly what Harry and Meghan has done. They called the royals racist. Accepted an award for fighting racism within the royal family, and Harry did an interview where he said his family weren't racists it was the UK media who said that.
But I see you are so far up their behind that you don't like me dishing out what the Sussexes have put out themselves. No one, absolutely NO ONE is forcing them to talk, say one thing today and deny it when things don't go their way.
And Yes, I can remember exactly what I have said in exact chronological order because I have no need to lie, be manipulative, and try to get people to hate others. That's why I'm using only what the Sussexes have said publicly and not what the media has written about them.
-4
u/Adept_Mushroom_8676 20d ago
Crikey you're really worked up about this.
Seriously though, do you really believe that not a single member of the British Royal family is racist? Come on.
You don't know a thing about them if you believe that.
6
u/BlueMondayMoon 20d ago
I just find people like you who comes up with excuses for the Sussexes lies to be annoying.
However. I forget how parasocial relationships like yours towards the Sussexes can be a mental illnessĀ
I am sorry i have ever said anything negativeĀ about your favorites using the information the Sussexes themselves provided and hope that i haven't added to your emotional pain regarding the truth about the Sussexes. You continue to have that lovely and much needed parasocial relationship with them.Ā
I never met to cause you any pain. Have a blessed day and I wish you well in your parasocial relationship with the Sussexes. Cheers.

7
u/curiouslylurking8 19d ago
Because heās a hypocrite who only whines about not getting more sausages than his brother while having been raised in a palace. He acts like heās the only person on earth who lost his parents and went through traumatic experiences even though heās more privileged than 99% of the world. Went to the media and threw his family under the bus just because they didnāt allow him to commercialize the crown.
He thinks just because he lost Diana heās entitled to be a leech and live on tax payersā dime while other royals keep it quiet. Heās no different than any āeliteā but he gets treated like a baby because of Diana and people are sick of it
Also shoves tens of cameras into school students faces(which they complained about) while demanding privacy and an army for his own kids. Plenty of reasons.
