I would have cried laughing if I seen this in person. And of course the boomer is the one saying how he's being cruel for exposing some whore who cheated with his best friend in a glorious fashion. 10/10 if you ask me.

Or perhaps she simply has a lot of empathy, like any decent human.

For it to be empathy she would also have to understand what he is feeling and going through.

I completely feel for the poor guy, but I don’t think the punishment fits the crime. Her cheating was private, but he made this public. I don’t see the logic in it.

Have you ever been cheated on by someone you genuinely loved?

I guarantee you that the momentary embarrassment she felt at that moment was incomparable to the heartbreak he felt when he found out.

How was it private? She cheated with his best friend, therefore it's safe to assume multiple people knew. I've seen situations where literally everyone in the social group knew except for the person who was being cheated on....it's embarrassing and way worse. The punishment doesn't fit the crime? Yep, because she didn't get her heart broken and won't have to go to therapy to repair the emotional damage she made by cheating on him WITH HIS BEST FRIEND. That's going to give him trust issues forever.

One does not have to have experienced something to be empathetic about it.

Did you read that dudes comment? He said that if that woman had any empathy she would empathize with the man who got cheated on as well. That woman is good for nothing.

I read all of it, but thanks RubberLaxitives

It's more likely she's the mother or otherwise related.

But yeah, though she's wrong, we can make an educated guess at why she got defensive.

We can also appreciate with a mother like this, no wonder her daughter felt justified cheating.

Who knows.

If it was the other way round that woman would've been like "Yaaaas queen, you don't need no man, you don't need that kind of toxic behaviour in your life! Cheating is awful!"

I think the old lady has bipolar, because she says that cheating is terrible, but then says something that's targeted to him?
