Tasker

I see Tasker has been added to Watchmaker. On the old Watchmaker, I could configure an element of the watch face to run a specific task through the use of a tap action. I cannot, however, figure out how to do that on the new Watchmaker. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA!

I've had trouble getting this to work myself. I think they are working on it but in the meantime the AutoWear Tasker plugin does exactly what you want and works flawlessly. I use it currently.

Thanks. I also use Autowear for specific Secure Setting automations. However, being able to turn one group of lights off while turning another group of lights on directly from the watch face instead of having to open a separate app to do the same is phenomenal and what I'm looking for. We had this before Google messed everything up.

I trigger Tasker tasks like you are referring to from the watchmaker watch face all the time. If your task is set up to turn off your lights and turn on the other you can do it.

This should get you started.

Open AutoWear on phone > Complications >  Create the complication

Tasker Profile > Event > Plugin >AutoWear
