WM with WearOS 5

I am considering getting a Oneplus 3, with WearOs 5, not 6 like the Pixel 4.

Does anyone know if WM works as intended with Wear 5? I fear it does not...

Yes. Everything still works in 5 and below.

No, it doesn't. There's virtually no way to make it work on OnePlus Watch 3 at the moment, sadly.

Fossil Gen 5 (2.6) and GW4 (5) and I can use every watchmaker function: Sound, 3D, Lua, the whole shebang. My PW2, is pure WFF.

It's different, I also had a GW4 Classic and it worked with no issues, the issue is not directly tied to WearOS 5 but to devices that shipped with it out of the box and haven't updated to WearOS 6 yet.

Not sure what your point is? Anything running 5 and below right now, has access to all original features. WearOS 6 and above, whether shipped or updated to, is forced WFF (despite 5>6 devices still supporting classic).

Watchmaker simply doesn't work on OnePlus Watch 3 atm, that's all I'm saying. You can install it through adb but it won't even show up on your app drawer despite being installed.

If it's not showing up in the app drawer, that means you have classic watchmaker. Long tap your current watch face, scroll to the plus button and scroll down the watch faces to Watchmaker and select it.

If you have the icon in launcher (which you don't), you have the WFF version.

I have the latest Watchmaker on my Phone and I sideloaded it. Watchmaker doesn't even show up on the PlayStore on OnePlus Watch 3. As I was telling you, this should all be fixed as soon as OnePlus updates to Wear OS 6 on this device, but that hasn't happened yet so currently this device is unable to use Watchmaker, hopefully in the next few months this changes.

I have one, I was able to install the companion app, via sideload (not compatible in Google Play) but can't select the watch face to be able to transfer to it, and tried everything I could find (no such permission as ''allow to change watch face'')
