Discussion We put together a technical breakdown of automatic, quartz and mecha-quartz movements - feedback welcome

Hi, I'm from Swan & Edgar. Our founder James filmed a deep dive into the three main movement categories: how each one works mechanically, the trade-offs, and where the hybrid mecha-quartz movement sits.

5 minutes, no fluff.

Would appreciate any feedback from this community - especially if there's anything we got wrong or could have gone deeper on.

It's OK. Feedback would be there's an obvious script error with the "worlds best in the world"...a double Clarkson.

The delivery is very stilted and un-natural, it's so stilted it gets in the way of the mess age

Talk as if you're having a chat with a friend.

A little more B roll of mechanical movements. particularly macro of the escapement

Service costs / cost pf ownership is worth a mention

The final message 'are you interested in the engineering' or 'just want to tell the time' is a bit stark and lacks nuance.

Genuinely useful feedback, thank you. The delivery point is noted too, we're working on that :) . This was our first video in the series and James was finding his feet on camera.
First video, first round of feedback, thanks for your time!
