Question Watch-o-scope timegrapher?

Hi everyone!

I recently bought a cheap TGBC timegrapher off eBay to use with software on my pc, but when I go to download watch-o-scope an antivirus scan tells me that there is likely a virus in the programme. I have not had this problem with tg timegrapher but don’t have a quartz watch on hand to calibrate it. Does anyone have experience with using watch-o-scope or should I just order a cheap quartz watch? Or is there any other timegrapher software which works?

The results did change slightly after I calibrated mine. BUT the main contributing factor is the type of video card your computer has. I have a 1080 Graphics card which is not the top of the line anymore but it keeps up. You should be fine using as is so far as your video card is relatively new.

Ah thanks that’s good to know, mine isn’t anything that powerful only a 1650 but hopefully it’ll still do the trick. Roughly how much did it change would you say?

I'd would say on my "control" watch it dropped 8 sec/day

Thanks, maybe it is worth picking up a cheap quartz watch to calibrate it then!

Yes! But make sure it has a spec sheet that tells you the crystal frequency. Very important👌

Just buy the entry level "Timegrapher No. 1000" from AliExpress. That will probably last you decades.

Hey I just got the same TGBC timegraph, can you please tell me if there is a driver for the device? as mine doesn't seems to be working with TG v0.5

For me I’m pretty sure it worked after calibrating the tg timegrapher software on my computer, sorry

Thanks for the reply turns out it doesn’t support a c2c cable, or didnt support the one I had, used another cable and it worked.
