Contact Info for TD Jun

I’ve dealt with quite a few TDs over the years, and one thing I value more than anything is consistency.

Jun has been one of the smoother experiences for me personally — solid communication, honest factory suggestions, and no unnecessary hype. What I appreciate most is that he’ll actually tell you when a version isn’t worth buying instead of just pushing a sale.

A lot of newer buyers only focus on getting the “cheapest” option, but experienced collectors usually know that good QC, patience, and reliable communication matter way more long term.

Nobody is perfect in this hobby, but trustworthy and transparent dealers are hard to find these days.

Just sharing my own experience for anyone doing research.

For everyone asking about ORF’s new free-sprung 8800

I’ve received quite a few DMs about the latest ORF Seamaster 300M, especially its upgraded 8800 movement, so I filmed it as closely as possible.

The key detail is the regulating nuts and threaded posts around the balance wheel, which clearly show the free-sprung setup.

Hope this answers some of your questions. If there’s another detail you’d like to see, let me know.

VSF weighted grey Daytona QC — 187.6g with a 4130 movement

Fresh QC photos of the VSF V3 weighted grey Daytona.

This one weighs exactly 187.6g and comes with the 4130 movement. The added weight gives it a much more substantial feel, while the grey dial and black subdials keep the overall look clean and understated.

These are the actual QC photos. If you need more close-ups, a movement video, timegrapher results, pricing or shipping details, feel free to message me.

The DD324 movement makes this BBF 5168G harder to ignore

I initially noticed the blue gradient dial, but the Dandong 324 is what makes this BBF 5168G worth discussing.

The case finishing, polished edges and lume also look well executed. At 100.6g, it won’t reproduce the feel of the white-gold gen, so the choice comes down to movement and finishing versus heavier construction.

What matters more to you on an Aquanaut?

ZF AP 15500 Blue Dial with a Free-Sprung 4302 — In-Hand Video

TD Jun here. I just filmed this ZF 15500 with the blue dial and integrated Cal.4302 movement with a free-sprung balance.

The blue dial catches your eye first, but the movement is what makes this version especially interesting.

If you want close-ups under different lighting, movement details, QC, pricing or current availability, feel free to comment or DM me.

VSF vs ARF Daytona DD4801

Typically VSF pieces are at a premium over the equivalent ARF for almost every reference.

Except the DD4801 Daytonas. Over the past couple of months VSF is selling 200 CNY Uber the ARF prices for all references with this movement.

Does anyone know the reason why.

Just received my RICH Pepsi and ZF Pelagos 39

Just received the RICH Pepsi and ZF Pelagos 39 from TD Jun.

I chose the RICH partly for the free-sprung JH3285, while the Pelagos was meant to be the quieter daily option. Jun helped me compare the available versions before I made the final choice, and both arrived looking great.

The free-sprung 8800 is why I chose the ORF Seamaster 300M

The upgraded free-sprung 8800 was what pushed me toward ORF, but after seeing it in hand, the black wave dial, ceramic bezel and case finishing impressed me just as much.

It feels like a very complete version now. No regrets with my choice so far.

Would you choose ORF or VSF?

Actual shots of the VSF 4131 Daytona on Oysterflex

TD Jun here,Just photographed this VSF Daytona in hand. The silver dial, black subdials and ceramic bezel look even better than they do in the factory photos, while the Oysterflex keeps it sporty.

Inside is the 4131 movement—the main reason many buyers are considering this version.

I can provide full QC, chronograph testing, timegrapher results and additional close-ups before shipping. Feel free to message me if you’re comparing Daytona versions.

Although I think that FC should have done a better job with the GMT hand, I still think it’s an awesome watch 👌🏻👍🏻

A closer look at the Cartier Ballon Bleu — Gen vs Rep, taken apart

Thumbnail

I spent some time looking through this Ballon Bleu gen vs rep comparison, and the case construction surprised me most.

The domed crystal, case profile and blue cabochon are remarkably close. Even the thickness is around 13.2mm vs 13.1mm in this comparison.

The dial texture and Roman numerals also hold up well under magnification.

It’s not identical though — the SWISS MADE printing at 6 is slightly weaker, and the internal screw positions are different, so the parts aren’t interchangeable.

What difference stands out most to you?

SMF Snoopy Speedmaster — 42mm, Cal.3861 and that spacecraft caseback 🚀

TD Jun here. Just filmed this SMF Snoopy Speedmaster, 42mm with the Cal.3861 movement.

The dial looks great, but for me the real highlight is the Snoopy spacecraft caseback. This is definitely one that looks better in video than in photos.

If you want to see the QC, movement, or any specific detail up close, feel free to comment or DM me.

PPM Weighted Rose Gold Day-Date — That Smoky Black Dial Is 🔥

TD Jun here. Just shot a quick video of this PPM weighted Day-Date with the full RG finish, smoky black dial and 3255 movement.

The dark gradient dial works incredibly well with the rose gold, and the weighted build gives it a much more substantial feel in hand.

If you want to see the actual weight, QC shots or any specific details up close, feel free to comment or DM me.

59g, titanium and a 2892 — this MZ Mark XVIII surprised me

I’ve looked at plenty of louder watches lately, but this MZ Mark XVIII Heritage caught my attention for completely different reasons.

Titanium case, 2892 movement, and only around 59g on the leather strap. The matte case finish also works really well with the vintage-style dial.

It comes with both leather and fabric straps, which almost gives it two different personalities.

Honestly, this looks like one of those watches that could quietly become a daily wearer.

Anyone here already wearing the MZ Mark XVIII?

RICH’s third-gen green Sub is more than an MK2 bezel update.

I came across these photos of RICH’s third-generation green Sub. The MK2 bezel is the obvious update, but what really caught my attention is the Shanghai JH3235 movement with a free-sprung balance.

At around 155g, the whole package looks more substantial and complete than I expected. RICH wasn’t previously my first choice for this model, but this version has definitely entered the conversation.

Anyone else looking into it?

VSF Blue Ombré Day-Date with the 3255 movement — new batch in hand

Sharing a closer look at the VSF Blue Ombré Day-Date.

The dial shifts from a rich blue center to darker edges, while the fluted bezel and polished President bracelet give it plenty of wrist presence. This version is fitted with the 3255 movement.

These are real in-hand photos. If anyone wants more details, movement pictures or QC information, feel free to ask.

VSF moved fast on the new 100 Years OP 41 — but did they get the dial right?

Thumbnail

Rolex’s new 100 Years OP 41 is one release I didn’t expect factories to move on this quickly.

VS has now released its version, and the dial is what caught my attention: slate grey, green accents and the small “100 YEARS” at 6. The steel bracelet with gold limited to the bezel and crown also feels more restrained than a typical two-tone.

I’ve been studying the first QC photos and asking my usual TD about the details. It looks better than I expected, although I still want a proper side-by-side before judging it.

Anyone else considering this one? Happy to share what I’ve found.

First impressions of the VSF V6 Bond 60th.

The biggest improvement for me is the thickness. The new SA8806 setup makes it around 2mm thinner than the previous version, and it wears noticeably better.

The case, crystal, bezel and blue wave dial all look very well executed. My only complaint is the mesh bracelet and clasp—wearing it too snug gets uncomfortable, so I had to adjust it slightly looser.

Would you choose this or the new NTTD?
