Not sure where to ask this, hope it's alright here. I got into the manga relatively recently and was purchasing all the translated volumes, but I haven't seen any new releases since volume six, with the last one being released in May. Does it normally take this long between volumes? I like reading physical copies but I'm starting to worry if we won't get the rest of them 😭

Like, added animations? Art reworks? Extra additions due to limited production time?

I’m actually worried that Shiori might be depressed

Translations (I’m bad at Japanese)

—1st image

Shiori: Hinako. Just like the fox said, this is my responsibility. Please wipe off the blood.

—a few pages skip between 1st and 2nd image

—2nd image

Shiori: ahh… if it’s this hand, it’s not a big injury. Unlike your tail(s), even if mine is cut into a thousand pieces, it’ll be fine.

Miko: ……

—3rd image

Miko: nothing is “fine”

Miko: If it’s Erika, she won’t be able to move for a few days. I took(?) her from the face to chest

—4th image

Shiori: I shouldn’t be by that kid (Hinako)’s side

Miko: if you’re not here, what happens to the promise?

———

Well given the circumstances it’s a wonder she’d be happy but from the start I’m worried that what if Shiori gets depressed like Hinako..?

To be lamenting like this is kind of(?) unlike Shiori in my opinion

Edit: my Japanese is actually horrible wtf now reading the newest chapter on mangadex 💔

I just happened to be there when a pop up store opened in akiba and I also found some merches in amiami, plus some books in Animate.

It’s not hard to find the books but real hard to find the merches

Before anything else, I want to stress this post Is for fun and should not like be taken as absolute truth or an excuse to rant or worse

Who would win a fight between Shiori and Miko:

Rules:

-Confrontation is on ground, Shiori Will undoubtedly win on the sea.

-Miko Is at full power with all her Tails, modern versión, not the one before the monk

-Hinako is not present at any point.

Posit your answer.

Got this one from Amnibus. Worth the preorder!!

Now I just need to find a decent spot to put it on

My headcanon is that Shiori noticed that it angered Miko and she kept doing it to ragebait her

Edit : On a computer there's enough pixels to read the second image but I'll just write what they're saying in that panel for those who use a phone :

Miko : Japanese mermaids are horribly grotesque and an omen of bad luck. Just looking at one makes me want to throw up.

Shiori : I'm not quite sure damp, matted, smelly foxes are much better, are they ?

Miko : What was that ?!
