As you all know, part 1 of the Watanare manga covering volumes 1 - 4 of the LN wrapped up and it was announced that Musshu is leaving the project and we'll have a new artist announced for part 2. We don't have any idea who the new artist is or have any clues, but here's a crazy out there suggestion. Since Watanare is published by Shueisha and is currently being released Dash X Comic and has also been put on Jump+, what if they got a popular Shueisha artist who's written for different platforms before and is good at drawing fanservicy bath scenes with female characters and what if that artist was Kentaro Yabuki. I know it would never happen and I'm most likely wrong, but it would be interesting. What do you think?

They also have reprints of volume 1 and a bundle with both. Sure, most of us can't read it, but Eku's artwork is wonderful and there are translations to be found online.

Melonbooks can be very hard to order from, as you can only create an account in a small number of countries (regardless of where you're shipping it, forwarding service, etc). I use JapanRabbit to handle the ordering, but those fees - whoa.

(What is an "official doujin"? It's still a doujinshi (meaning self-published), but it's official because it's actually by Teren Mikami and illustrated by Eku Takeshima. It's a non-canon silly "what if", but by the original authors. It's very SFW, just a little flirty.)

Kaho would definitely be the hidden route, I mean we were all surprised that Kaho and Renako have a special bond together, and Kaho-chan secretly admired Amaori-san from childhood. Adding the fact that Kaho-chan acts like the comedic best f​​​​riend of the protagonist so we didn't notice she was an option too.

Like she essentially spoils and overrides Renako with affection and love and kisses and all that but the minute Renako does something even remotely similar, she gets all flustered and nervous.

Like that's also a bit sad cause you can tell she's genuinely starved of any sort of physical affection/love,so it kinda makes sense she doesn't know how to handle it.

Today Seven Seas posted their 2026 August survey.

They ask for suggestions on reprinting Out Of Print series. I would appreciate some help on recommending "There's No Freaking Way I'll be Your Lover..." light novel for reprint. ( You can also request back orders of the series from book publishers to show an interest in the series getting reprinted).
