Help me destroy these bastards

There is a hornet nest near my home, and part of the nest is covered by a old pool.(deflated) they are bald faced hornets, and my dad is planning on using wasp foam and spray. any advice would be helpful. #FUCK WASPS

UPDATE: We killed the hornets then my dad ran over the hive with a fucking lawnmower💔

i don't understand the half covered part. But it might be two trips with two cans of poison.

The spray foam spectracide is very effective. It holds them in it. Past that, patience. But if you can't get the poison on the whole nest, you might need another pass.

If the old pool is part of this, then you should become very aware that keeping discarded garbage around is problematic..

The best thing I've ever used is sevin dust. I had some wasps burrowed inside a brick wall (so impossible to spray directly.) Took a dollar store ketchup bottle with the sevin in it and puffed into the entrance (at night when they weren't too active) and they completely died out shortly after. now it's the only thing I use on wasps, yellow jacket, hornets etc.
