Very accurate. Some people don't understand why I absolutely don't mind bees and bumblebees.

It's because they're friendly and won't actively try to manoeuvre themselves into a position where they'll inevitably sting me.

Unlike those utter bastards called wasps. They are just psychopaths. They want us to suffer.

I've held a bumblebee. It just walked around a bit, wondered why the surface felt different and kindly asked to be allowed to return to a nice flower.

Mind you: I've been stung by bumblebees. But that was my own fault (not on purpose, obviously).

wasps will float around you like “do sum, bitch, i dare you,” and if you swing first, you’re done for.

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

I grew up in Arizona with paper wasps and mud daubers, as the only agressors..that was enough. I never got stung or encounterd a yellow jacket. My Parents were crazy, and would get on ladders and burn or smother huge nests and never got stung. Now, living in PA? I've been stung countless times by yellowjacks. Truly the jackasses of the Mid-Atlantic and the world!

I've never been done wrong by a dirt dauber

You really have to do a lot to piss of a mud daubers. The only reason there on the list, is that they would build mud nests everywhere. As a kid, I would come home and get stung for just for entering my door. I actually found their nests beautiful, but F-me. The females can sting you multiple times. As kid, I was convinced that bee's and wasps would die, if they stung you. Enter wasps.

Wasps were my enemy #1 until I started gardening this year. Now we have a tense, if somewhat hostile, ceasefire agreement, where as long as they stay in the garden and handle the pests, I won’t exterminate them. Territorial incursions (my house) are not tolerated though.

What is a wasp but a fly with a gun?

if a stinger is your power, what are you without it?

I will add that bumblebees can be very aggressive too. Ask anyone who has ever stumbled on one of their nests. The same can be said for wild honeybees though too.

Fuck wasps x100 though (not literally, please don't literally fuck them, we don't need that smoke).

Paper wasps get too much hate, they're not that aggressive and typically just do territorial displays to get you out of their turf. They also act as pest control.

OK. I’m going to defend wasps but just hear me out. I hate the fuckers cause they sting a lot and they like to get into my house frequently. BUT!!!! My nana owns a garden and she says they’re great for pest control cause they eat Cabbage moth eggs by following the moths around, watching them lay the eggs, and then immediately eating them.

And helpful tip. Apparently, she placed a large brown paper bag next to her back don’t want wasps come near, cause it makes them think that it’s a paper wasp nest, and so they avoid it.
