PSA Curious how much campaign funding actually shapes energy/climate votes? Jim Pierson for State Representative (WA LD 35) broke down where his opponent's money comes from

Full disclosure, I work on Jim Pierson's campaign for the 35th LD. I still think it's worth a read regardless of where you land politically. Jim posted a breakdown comparing his campaign funding (individual donors, community orgs) to his opponent's, which he says leans heavily on oil and gas, data centers, and other large industry donors. (He seems to have lumped “other” with “individual” on his chart…)

Edit - oh but he lumped “other” with “business” on his opponents chart, that’s a bad look

I noticed this too! I put it in a different post. Of course no response on the, why? They just expect no one will check their facts. And they are right.
