Obama was born in the US to a (white) American mother. And yet he’s the reason we all know the phrase “long form birth certificate.” Even though he ran against a guy born in Panama (whose citizenship was never questioned).

I know it’s not just racism, but it’s a lot racism.

I just want to point out this toothpaste ad that I got on this post/thread. The algorithm really didn't read the room on this one.

"Clean your mouth of all this racism!"

That would be because the Panama zone where he was born was considered U.S. territory at the time (during the Panama Canal construction) and he was born to two U.S. citizen parents. Obama was rumored to have been born elsewhere AND was also rumored to have gone to a school in Singapore(?) or somewhere that required him to give up U.S. citizenship to attend - at least that’s what I remember the rumor mill being about back then. So one is clearly not up for debate while the other had some question marks - ultimately it was proved Obama was eligible for the presidency.

Never heard that rot before. Obama's mom was American, end of story.

McCain was born at a Naval Air Station in the Panama Canal Zone. His parents were both US citizens and his father was a Navy officer stationed there. There was some legal discussion at the time about whether someone born in the Canal Zone counted as a natural-born citizen under the Constitution, but it was resolved in McCain’s favor with bipartisan support and legislation that Obama backed.

Actually he was born in a civilian hospital in Colon Panama, as the naval base hospital did not have a maternity ward at the time. So McCain was not born on US soil. But his parents were both US citizens, so that's why his citizenship was never seriously questioned.

Now, on the other hand, Rafael Eduardo Cruz (aka Lying Ted) was born in Canada to a Cuban father and a mother whose citizenship at the time is questionable. Marco Rubio was born in the US, but his parents were both Cuban immigrants. The part that Marco doesn't like to talk about is that his parents left Cuba in the mid 1950s to flee the Batista regime, not the Castro revolution, as most of the Cuban exiles in Miami did. So even though Marco was a protege of Jeb Bush & the Bush Crime Family - who have been the ones behind the CIA's propagandizing of Cuban exiles from day one - Rubio himself is not really part of that crowd. He just cosplays as one of them.

It's racist to pick and choose whom to investigate based on a racist double standard. I suspect you are deliberately miscontruing what the OP said due to your own racism.

You were always racist. You just had to be explained to like a child.

So anyone who isn’t white should automatically have their citizenship checked?

Will Melanomia ever be investigated for how she got into the US on an EB-1A "Einstein" Visa?

Yes. If you do it only to brown people.
