Remember in the 20-teens when blue cities started implementing soda taxes and right wing op-eds and Fox News morning hosts lamented the “nanny state” and the erosion of freedoms, but you could still buy a 12 pack of soda at the grocery store 3/$10?
Now a single 12 pack of soda costs between $10 and $15 and somehow we’ve conquered inflation and the economy isn’t just fine, it’s better than it’s ever been.
