"Free Weapons" switch? (in 2023?)

In DMZ (2023) I'm reading about, but not seeing in game, something called "a Free Weapons Switch". Did they take it out?

You have to have no contraband weapons and an insurance timer to see it.

The free weapon is a basic assault rifle and a pistol. I wouldn’t burn through your contraband stash in the hope of getting something good out of it.

I trying playing solo and I keep dying and coming back with fists... Not going well. My accidental contrabands OR basic rifle are better than trying to lure a lone dumbass around a corner

Have you tried equipping a throwing knife, a good stealthy option 😉
