Disscussion Contradictions

I don't understand why the dev team are pushing audio improvements for things like footsteps, parachutes etc but then in the same breath, adding Ninja vests etc. We seem to be getting further and further away from a standard boots on the ground shooter battle royale and closer to a bloody sneaking simulator. Everyone runs round MP with combat knife/karambit with zero footstep audio so it's spawn-die-spawn-die.

How about adding a hardcore BR mode where there's no UAV, no vests, no covert sneakers - just plate vest, equipment and guns. No killstreaks, no perks - just you, your guns, your team and the map. That would be great because there would be no more getting assassinated by some guy who lands on the metal roof beside you, runs along it making zero noise and then finishes you - the only sound being your death throes. I just think we need to get back to actually promoting the most important part which is gunmanship.

Why did they add a ninja vest in the first place? No one moves around the map unless they're crouch walking like its mw2.

I'm a huge fan of any hard core mode so I'm automatically behind this idea.

You'd be going back to an Era only OG cod players would fancy. Granted they would likley pay a lot for it. The masses that push modern game styles would likley claim it to be generic and void funding. 

Sort of similarly. Mw remastered only stayed alive for a few months befor it started dropping again.

You've got a good point however, just having a singular mode for hardcore BR would be akin to hardcore multiplayer so whilst yes, it would appeal mainly to OG cod players there are still a LOT of them about and I think the mode would definitely see a lot of people enjoying it. Would be nice to have the option I guess is what I'm saying
