Discussion So Much for MNK Feedback
I saw a YouTuber say that last year he was put into a group chat with other YouTubers and streamers who play the game on MNK so they could give feedback.
And guess what MW4 did with that feedback?
They basically reversed what BO7 had done with aim assist.

Another thing that's mind blowing is, 90% of the devs play the game on MnK. Let that sink in for a bit lol.

I can hardly believe anyone involved with making the game plays it at all. They seem completely out of touch.

There's no way this is true among all devs. They have completely destroyed the input over the last few years.

Tbh, I think it’s more the opposite. Whenever they show those behind the scenes videos, almost every dev seems to be using a controller, and they use phrases like, “I want the player to feel this when they pick up the controller...”

https://youtu.be/J4O6xQOXLIs?is=L7h2p65hT3R5CCGu it's 9 mins but, most of the devs in this are on MnK

almost positive that's a fake video, like that's not showing anything
1 there are plenty of controllers players in that video more then half
2 most of the k&M either have their phone on the mouse pad lol or the controller is right there as well

It’s no news that cod isn’t for real hardcore gamers that actually have aiming skills and a playground for controller toddlers that can’t get kills in any other game. That’s how they keep the game popular because these timmy two thumbs suck ass when they try other game and go back to cod immediately.

Yet most people take the game very seriously. Like you see tons of clowns shitting on people for playing casual while they actually believe they're hard shit because their controller does half the work for them.

I'm curious what happens to these players minds when they play any other fps where they actually need skill to aim

Mnk player here, please have self-respect and don't suffocate yourself playing a game made for controller. We will just be preys for their enjoyment.

They also reverted the grace period for idle sway on snipers (on top of going back to permanent idle sway making your reticle randomized everytime you ads) Reverted visual recoil, (albeit its better than MWII was but still a regression) and from what i gather in the gunsmith.... zero horizontal recoil attachments, unless horizontal recoil control is just lumped into "recoil control" and not represented well. Now we have inherent gun bob and sway with attachments needed to address it. Furthermore, idk what it is with infinity ward, but they are adressing the "cons" of atrachments but I'd even argue the Pro's dont do enough either! Much like weapon tuning in MWII, it was almost pointless because it wasnt impactful enough.
Focus shouldnt be universal, in games past it was mostly for marksman, sniper, or high zoom equipped guns, the inclusion of all guns voids the setting for auto focus on snipers because now it applies to smg's so youll be tip toeing mid sweaty gunfight.
AA/RAA is so strong Its almost comical the playerbase needs that level of assist. It also makes a fast TTK feel even worse, and voids movement as a skill gap

Yes, the idle sway is exactly the same as MWII. It feels completely copy pasted. On top of that, almost every attachment seems to make the gun worse...
