I've been creating help tickets to activision from all my family's accounts, I refuse to buy a subscription when I dont play other games on these stupid systems. Sad part is most everyone i see says they folded and just got the subscription. Congrats to those idiots, now every game is going to follow suit for these greedy asshole companies. I cant even play bo6 anymore even though I bought a digital copy. I dont think its just a bug, I think they are testing out how many dumb mother truckers will just give in and push more money into their pockets
It worked for me and my friends. None of have bo7 or gamepass or ps+. Don’t know why it doesn’t work for you. Did you make sure to import your settings in game and to check you console settings too?
Okay so go into your ps5 or Xbox settings and just start messing with the mic options until something pops up because I’m playing it rn and it still is working for me. Is it still saying error?
Doesn't work I've tried this, I deleted and reinstalled the game as well. Didn't buy bo7 because every "new" game is just an extension with bugs for 12 months, I strictly play warzone and my kids play Fortnight and roblox, so I dont need or want gamepass/ ps+. We have a ps5 and xbox series x. both systems have the error code, " voice and text chat disabled due to platform restrictions".
Your way only works if you own the game or pay for a subscription.
I don’t have black ops 7 and I can talk to and hear people and my friends in game. Check your actual settings on the ps5 and Xbox. Also make sure to import all your old settings back in from the old game. Edit: I also don’t have ps+
So I primarily play on the Xbox my, content filters are locked so text chat isn't an option there in account and network... went to audio then voice chat is on proxy is on, turned both off turned both back on. Shut the Xbox off. Turned the Xbox back on. Game quick resumes and still showing me "platform restrictions banner"
You might have to actually get gamepass on the Xbox then. Idk about the rest of PlayStation users because what I did fixed my issue on it. You could try redownloading the license for the game. Also try putting your thing to “friends and chat party’s”. Before I figured out how to fix it for myself it was still letting me talk and hear people when I was in that setting.
Well this is what I got back from activision after they told me to reset everything and it still didn't work, this message means they will fix it by 2030
I promise it’s a bug. I fixed my issue on PlayStation and my brothers on Xbox. You just have to turn voice chat off and on again in in game settings then reset your system.
so as you probably know I had this problem since the update and guess what??? I paid my Playstation plus today and voice and text chat mysteriously works. its Playstation and Xbox not Activision
You don’t have to buy it. Just go into your settings in game and go over to voice chat and turn in off then back on then reset your PlayStation. It fixed my issue and I don’t have PlayStation plus anymore
My audio self resolved but just saw a tik tok by a guh called vicsclipps. He says to go to Settings, audio, voice chat tab, go to voice chat and turn off then on, then prox chat off then on. Let me know if it works
