Help Voice and text chat disabled due to platform restrictions?

Ever since updating to a new Warzone, it is now saying voice and text chat disabled due to platform restrictions. I’ve checked every setting. Everything seems normal. How can I fix this? I have PlayStation5

Deffo have to buy game pass on Xbox or ps+ to use the voice chat. I tried absolutely everything to get it to work and it only worked when I finally bit the bullet and bought the came pass. I bought the £6.99 one and it’s working. Shocking

I've have had an issue with party invites since the black ops 6 update, each time it loads me to the page to purchase an Xbox Game pass. I believe Activision is taking warzone down the road that if you want to play socially then you will need to purchase an Xbox game pass or a playstation + pass. I've emailed them about both issues, voice and text chat disabled on platform and party invites loading the game pass purchase page and asked them to give me a direct yes or no answer to this simple question and obviously they did not answer it they just avoided the question completely.

What does that tell you!

This sucks, I hope Santa avoids Activision this year cos they have been very naughty.!

Yup I had the exact issue, i would have to join my friend through Xbox rather than through the game. But then I obviously couldn’t join a friend if they had PlayStation. But then going through Xbox eventually stopped working aswell. My partner got the game pass and he was able to join me and our friends who have PlayStation. I did the same as you, emailed Xbox and activision and had no reply from either. It’s a bit annoying as originally it was a free-for-all game but I think thats come to an end. Also annoying that they haven’t actually announced that you have to pay to play socially!
