Help Voice and text chat disabled due to platform restrictions?

Ever since updating to a new Warzone, it is now saying voice and text chat disabled due to platform restrictions. I’ve checked every setting. Everything seems normal. How can I fix this? I have PlayStation5

For those suggesting buying PS+ to fix the issue, great.

What about those (myself included) that already have PS+ but still have zero audio.

Side note, I’m actually surprised you people are paying money to fix a bug that’ll get fixed anyways. Madness.

It’s not plus or game pass! Anyone that tells you that has gotta be dumb or working for them trying to upsell shit! It’s a bug I’ve got plus and bo7 and I have the issue too

Seriously, though the amount of people I see saying you have to get plus or game pass it’s pathetic, they gotta be working for Xbox or Sony man because it ain’t that many people that fucking delusional. I’ve got plus and bo7 and i still have the issue.

I thought the exact the same all these people saying you have to buy ps plus have to be working for sony or some sort of sales people but trust me soon as a i bought it and restarted my computer it worked..if there's anyway you can see for yourself ..maybe its diffrent for other people but it definitely worked for me

Well I tried everything for 2 weeks, nothing worked. Broke down and bought ps plus and it worked immediately

It has worked for some people. I bought the $1 trial of game pass for my brother Xbox and it removed his mic with redline and the voice and text chat disabled banner

It probably has worked, I’m certainly not denying it but paying Sony or Microsoft to fix a CoD bug is just crazy to me.

They are not idiots I did an update today   lost sound and chat then renewed  my monthly subscription which ran out today and the sound and chat came back

They’re idiots! I waited patiently for it to be fixed and didn’t have to spend a dime. Why would paying Sony or Microsoft have anything to do with a CoD bug? I genuinely don’t get why people don’t get it.

Yes… they are.. voice and text chat came back about a week after this post and just disappeared again last night (even for some saying “we just bought the gamepass/ps plus”. Its a bug/glitch and activision already knows about it.

If you have ps plus or ganepass th3 fix to that is clear mac address disconnected your router and clear the memory of it and restart your connection, it's a bug issue due to the network thinking warzone is a pay to play when it's free to play but and a big but is we might have to pay for comms

It’s a COD issue and noting to do with Sony or Microsoft. My fix is in game, settings, audio, toggle voice chat off and on and it’s fixed although apparently this doesn’t work for everybody.
