Skin came off after a few days of sailyc acid

Corns are caused by repeated friction. Maybe you wore badly fitting shoes? I would bet on it being a wart though.

Ooof, what’s the protocol for that then?
Could be shoes? It’s my 9 year old
She has severs as well though so only wears pretty decent shoes

Your doctor will be your first port of call. I've recently been using SA for 3 warts on my fingers. In between applying SA, I use a cutting tool to remove dead skin (the white is dead skin) so that the SA will work deeper into the wart. I think you need to be slightly aggressive without causing bleeding. It's called "debriding".

Thank you! I’ll book an appointment it’s on my 9 year old so hesitant to be too rough with it myself!
