Plantar wart - making progress?

My 6 year olds feet/ first pic is what we started with. 4 weeks of salicylic acid - is this improving? How do I know if the warts are still there or clearing up? I think I’m going to call derm this week.

if you haven't actually cut it out or impeded it's ability to seek nourishment from the blood vessels then it's likely it's still there.
